Students interested in STEM…

The following programs are offered through Northeastern University:

  • Young Scholars Program (YSP) [10th-12th Grades]

    This program offers students (applicants who have completed either their sophomore or junior year in high school) with a strong interest and ability in STEM the opportunity to engage in a paid summer research experience while still in high school. Students learn a wide range of technical, academic, and personal skills whilst working in research laboratories, engaging in technical seminars, taking field trips to corporate and government sites, and experiencing college life firsthand. 15-20 students.

  • Application Deadline: March 31, 2016
  • Program Dates: June 27, 2016 – August 4, 2016 (Mon-Thurs) – must have transportation
  • Building Bridges [9-12th Grades]

    Bi-annual event that provides high school students the opportunity to explore Northeastern University’s College of Engineering through interactive engineering activities, presentations about research programs and initiatives at Northeastern, and an overview of potential career paths and higher education options.
