Wear Your Future: Celebrate the Class of 2018… Inspire 2019, 2020, 2021

As you may know, May 1 is National College Decision Day, so called because the vast majority of U.S. colleges and universities set this as the deadline for students to notify them of their decision to attend. For the past few years, here at HHS, we have used May 1 to celebrate our seniors and inspire underclass students by asking our seniors to wear a shirt/sweatshirt with the college of their choice, GAP/PG year program in which they will participate, branch of military they will join, or their place of employment. Our faculty and staff will also be wearing their college/military/program shirts in hopes of generating interesting conversations about education and career paths.

This coming Tuesday will be an incredibly fun day at HHS. Congratulations to our seniors for completing the college admissions process / planning for their future – well done!  We are proud of you.

Mock Admissions Event

All families are invited as we take a look at mock applications for college admissions with local college representatives. If you are interested in learning more about how applications are reviewed, join us on Wednesday, April 4th at 7 pm in the HHS Auditorium.

College and Career Fair

The 5th Annual MetroWest College and Career Fair will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 9:00 – 12:30 pm at the Ashland High School.  The fair will give students and parents the opportunity to speak with representatives from over 100 colleges, universities and gap-year options, as well as provide students with an opportunity to engage with professionals from over 50 unique careers.  In addition, there will be ongoing speakers to discuss topics such as the college application process, financial aid, and SATs.  There is no charge to attend the fair.

If a grade is incorrect or you are concerned about sending your grades, please see your counselor as soon as possible.

**We will send midyear grades to every school we sent an initial transcript.

If you are in a three term AP course, we will send a report card (without comments and without final exam grades.) Colleges will see first quarter and second quarter grades for all courses along with final grades for single term/semester long classes.

If you are in all term or semester only classes, we will send an updated transcript.
